Jean-Emmanuel has more than twenty years of experience at the Brussels Bar. His activity is mainly focused on family taxation. He advises parental couples in the context of their separation or divorce agreements and also assists families in disputes with the tax authorities in this respect and in inheritance and gift tax. He also assists and advises his clients in disputes relating to filiation. Jean-Emmanuel holds a law degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and a degree in tax law from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Fiscales. He was a teaching assistant at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven from 1989 to 1997 and is a teaching assistant in personal and family law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles since 2001. He is the author of numerous publications in his favourite fields and a sought-after speaker at conferences and training courses. He is also a substitute judge at the justice of peace of Kraainem / Sint-Genesius-Rode and a member of the Family Commission of the French Bar Association of Brussels.
